I had a reading from Mary Fry in July 2001, eight months after my husband passed away with cancer. My main purpose for this reading was guidance on my life at that point, not to connect with Peter. I was at that time learning to develop my spiritual side and beginning to work in that field.
Although my husband made his presence felt during that reading and Mary delivered some lovely messages from him, it was her opening five minutes that really summed up the spiritual questions I wished to ask but at that moment had not yet voiced them to her. Her exact words to me were; "You feel there is something missing. Something you can't quite get and therefore you feel unsure in your mediumship. Your development has been
your own. Even though you have been on courses, what you have learnt on these have been a waste of money because you are not using it. But you
did need them because without them you could not discern and that is important. You are on the right pathway."
As I replay the tape recording of this reading you hear yowls of laughter from me as that was exactly what I felt. Every time I did a workshop I felt as if I was wasting my time. Over the years it had been important to me to listen and communicate with my guides especially one dear one and they had never put me wrong. They had thrown me in the deep end time and time again and so I had learnt from them and here was Mary telling me how it was, not knowing my innermost thoughts.
The reading continued giving me good advice and over the past few years Mary has continued to give me the same wonderful down to earth directions. Lately I have pondered on that first reading and realize that I have come a long way in just over two years. I have had the courage to begin holding Meditation classes, Healing workshops, spoken at seminars and now in the early states of setting up Self development workshops. I have
had no guidelines of others to follow but have always followed the guidance of my inner voice and my spirit helpers. I let them direct me to what should be used to help others. Mary's words were so true and they were invaluable to me and so were an extension of help to many others, through my acceptance of this message delivered to me on that day.
